This is the Lethbridge Sustainable Living association's October 2022 Newsletter.

The time has arrived...

Our Annual General Meeting is going to happen this Sunday November 6th, 7 pm online. Below you will find the Zoom link for the meeting.

This year's AGM agenda will include:

President report Financial/Treasurer report – Statement of income, assets and Auditors reports from 2021-22 fiscal year.

Adoption of the annual budget for 2022-23 fiscal year Appointing the auditors for the upcoming audit/fiscal year

Future of the Organization... Current board turnover, Societies registration.

Executive terms up for election President, Secretary. Additional positions of VP and Treasurer. General Board member elections.

This AGM will be earmarked as a discussion about the future of the LSLA as it has operated since 2012.

The board is in a transition year in which several of their longstanding members will be moving out of community and/or retiring their seats on the board.

The LSLA board needs to have discussion and guidance from the membership and public in regard to maintaining their status as a society operating here in Alberta.

We have had a few individuals put their name forth as a new board member. We are currently seeking a good fit for the role of treasurer for the LSLA board, if you are or know anyone with a little experience in this area and may want to donate a few hours to helping the organization, please feel free to connect directly at lethbridgesustainableliving@gmail.com
